We are officially launching our sustainable lighting collection, grown from mushroom mycelium, in Europe this September (2023) and have chosen the London Design Festival as a launch pad for our brand and products in the UK and EU markets.

MushLume Lighting will be showcasing a collection of biofabricated hanging pendant lamps in the Isola exhibit at Material Matters, Sept 20-23, 2023 at the Bargehouse, OXO Tower Wharf, UK.

Taking place once again at the iconic Bargehouse at Oxo Tower Wharf on London's Southbank, the fair includes five floors of products, site-specific installations, a marketplace, a learning area and an extensive talks programme, providing a new platform for engagement, collaboration and inspiration for the design and architecture industries. Material Matters investigates how the design industry can address issues around the circular economy and why material intelligence is so important to all our lives.

MushLume Lighting will be featuring pendant lighting in Isola’s exhibit within Material Matters. Following the year's theme, Nothing Happens if Nothing Happens, Isola is gathering design professionals committed to the mission of using design to promote circularity, innovation, and craftsmanship. As an exhibition participant, MushLume Lighting embodies each of these aspects and provides transparency about their product lifecycle and sustainability metrics.
